Alan qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor in 2009 & started Silver Lining in 2011.  Since then he has built up a solid reputation as a very patient & friendly local face to the industry. Despite recently taking more of a back seat within the school he still remains very much an active part of the business.

Peter qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor in 2021.  Having had to hit the ground running due to the increased demand for instruction because of the delays caused by the pandemic & subsequent lockdowns, he has very quickly developed a reputation as a friendly & patient instructor with a calm demeanour and light hearted approach to his teaching, who will ensure you have the right tools and knowledge to take with you through your driving life.

As a father & son team we are constantly in contact & help each other out wherever possible so you know you’ll be looked after.
